Will callers know it’s AI?
Yes. It introduces itself as your virtual assistant. Most callers just want a quick answer or a booking, and it gives them one.
Do I need a Stratixom website?
No. The receptionist is its own service. As an add-on to one of our websites it’s $199 setup, then $59 a month on top of your plan. On its own, we quote setup and the monthly price after a short call about your call volume.
What if it can’t answer something?
It takes a message and emails you right away, or puts the call through to you if you’ve asked it to.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your number and forward calls to the receptionist: all the time, only after hours, or only when you don’t pick up.
Is there a limit on calls?
No hard limit. The add-on includes 150 call minutes a month, which covers most local businesses, and extra minutes are $0.25 each, billed with your next month. We email you when you reach 80% of your included minutes. A standalone plan has its own allowance, set in your quote.
What does setup cover?
Building your receptionist: your greeting, your answers, your calendar connection and transfer rules, a test call together, and help forwarding your phone line. It’s a one-time fee: $199 with a Stratixom website, or quoted on its own.
Is there a contract?
No. It’s month to month, and you can stop with 30 days’ notice.
Are calls recorded?
No audio is kept. Calls are transcribed so your email summary is accurate, callers hear a short notice at the start, and transcripts are deleted after 90 days.
